Local Area Networks
Being part of an OTNZ-WNA Aotearoa local area network gives members a space to:
- share information and ideas
- discuss matters of common interest
- provide and receive professional support
- give feedback on issues relevant to the profession as part of an OTNZ-WNA consultation process.
Each group chooses where, when and how often to meet. Some groups are formal and professionally focused, and may even keep minutes, while others provide more informal and social interactions.
How do I join a LAN?
Most areas are organised into LANs with a convenor that is responsible for co-ordinating local get together’s. Check our list of current LANs to find contact details for the convenor and email them for details of upcoming LAN events.
