Occupational Therapy New Zealand Whakaora Ngangahau Aotearoa

One week out – Get to know our Thursday presenters!

Join Gill Webb (Contract Occupational Therapist) on Thursday, October 29th from 10am -10.40am for an interactive session via Zoom, at the OTNZ-WNA e-Clinical workshops 2020.
“I grew up near London and emigrated to Auckland, New Zealand in 1995, graduating as an OT and moving to Northland in 2003. Working in a rest home and as a Community OT provided a great introduction to bi-cultural practice. More recently, I have worked with ACC’s adult population which has further extended my understanding of Te Āo Māori.

I am currently studying the PG Certificate in Rehabilitation, which is challenging my pākeha world view and developing more personalised practice, reflecting the large proportion of Māori clients where I live and work. ”
