The OTNZ-WNA council are elected by members annually at the annual general meeting and comprise eight members: President – Tangata Whenua, President-Tangata Tiriti, the two delegates to the World Federation of Occupational Therapists representing Tangata Whenua and Tangata Tiriti, and four council members at large ( 2 from Tangata Whenua, 2 from Tangata Tiriti).
Purpose of council meetings
The council meetings are held as required to make policy, provide strategic direction, and to oversee the business of the association. The OTNZ-WNA council meet up to four times a year in person and may have additional conference calls or other sub-committee activity.
