JOB DESCRIPTION

We have some exciting opportunities within the District Health Board for casual occupational therapists to cover and use their proven experience to work toward our Strategic Health Services Plan.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years’ experience in a health-related field and be flexible to work across services in the inpatient and community Allied Health teams.

We provide the opportunity to work alongside an interdisciplinary team to expand your skill base and ensure excellent service delivery.

Previous experience working within an allied health setting using a values-based approach will be an added advantage. You must be comfortable with working within an ‘all-one-team’ model in allied health, working together with other leaders and staff to deliver responsive patient-directed care. You will find a supportive and dynamic coaching environment with Manaakitanga at the heart.

If you have any queries about this position, please do not hesitate to contact Rio Jodache (Occupational Therapy Team Leader) on 021 473 583.

The Bay of Plenty District Health Board has an innovative culture where staff share the principles of Compassion, All-One-Team, Responsive and Excellence in their daily work. The successful applicant will have to provide evidence they are compassionate, team spirited, responsive to needs and with an attitude of always striving for excellence.
