Ngā mōhiohio e pā hānga ki tēnei mahi (About this position)

The Clinical Coordinator will work in partnership with peers and the manager to support operational and clinical leadership and to facilitate high quality, safe and effective client-focused care for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAHMS) and Addictions in the Marlborough area.

This well-established and respected position would suit an applicant with plenty of energy and enthusiasm. Mental Health services at Nelson Marlborough Health (NMH) is undergoing a period of rapid development. The team in Marlborough are in a strong position to be at the forefront of improvement initiatives and require a positive clinical coordinator to ensure positive outcomes.

Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?)

You will be a registered nurse, occupational therapist or social worker with a minimum of five years experienced in working with young people and addiction clients. You will be up to date with current research findings relating to major mental health and addiction issues and trends in child and adolescent mental health service delivery. You will also be experienced in implementing service change and improvement initiatives and will have the fortitude, resilience, imagination and flexibility required to meet the challenges of this role.

You will be type of person who fits into a cohesive team culture of collaborative practice, openness, humour, and respect across disciplines. You will engender confidence, trust and rapport with clients, their support networks and other agencies and service providers.

Normal hours of work will be between 0800hrs – 1630hrs, Monday to Friday.
