In Marlborough, Adult Mental Health Services are delivered by an established multi-disciplinary team based at the Wairau Hospital in Blenheim. This team delivers a comprehensive clinical resource to those affected by acute or enduring severe mental illness.
In addition to caseload responsibilities, duties will include assessment and acute management of individuals presenting with mental health problems, both within and outside of hours. Normal hours of work are between 8.00AM and 4.30PM, Monday to Sunday.
This is a temporary full-time position, covering parental leave for up to 12 months; however, part-time options will also be considered. Participation in the on call roster and undertaking duties pertaining to a Duly Authorised Officer are options that may be considered.

You will be a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker with an up to date knowledge of mental health and associated issues. You will possess the personal resilience and professional attributes required to undertake this challenging role.
