We’re offering an experienced Occupational Therapist the chance to showcase their skills in a newly integrated Engage community allied health team and an award winning engAGE service at the Hawke’s Bay DHB that has been recognised for their approach to improving outcomes for older people. Be part of a dynamic and supportive occupational therapy and interprofessional team who are passionate about improving services for people living well in the community with long term conditions and disabilities. This position involves working with people in their own homes to support their safety and functional independence to live well, stay well and get well. Interventions includes interprofessional and multidisciplinary working as well as individual occupational therapy specific assessment and interventions. This can include patient focused goal setting and interventions, environmental and equipment assessment and provision, wheelchair and seating management all with a focus on a patients meaningful occupations.
