WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Working with tamariki & rangatahi from a wide variety of backgrounds up to 18 years of age.

Providing 1:1 assessment & therapy as well as coaching for families and school staff.

Multidisciplinary assessment alongside speech language therapy and occupational therapy.

You’ll provide joint sessions with the wider team when required.

 

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

-Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand and current Annual Practicing Certificate.

– A minimum of 2 years experience working with child & adolescence is preferred but not essential.

– Eligible for membership with the Occupational Therapy New Zealand Whakaora Ngangahau Aotearoa.

– Professional indemnity insurance

– Drivers licence & own reliable vehicle

 

THE CONTRACTUAL ARRANGEMENT

You will be a self employed therapist working under the umbrella of reThink Children’s Therapy. If you’re not already set up as a self employed therapist we can help you get set up.

You will be expected to work within the reThink Children’s Therapy policies & procedures; and within our clinical oversight and management infrastructure.
