Ngā mōhiohio e pā hānga ki tēnei mahi (About this position)
As a Needs Assessor, you will working with individuals and families identifying and coordinating supports as required. This role is office-based; however, much of the work takes place in the larger community. You will be working with a wide variety of people, from the individuals themselves, to providers, health practitioners, schools, and community organisations.
Our aim is to support people, whose lives are affected by a disability, to achieve their goals, retain their independence and self-reliance, and to enjoy optimum quality of live wherever they live.
Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?)
You will be a registered health professional: Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Therapist or Registered Nurse.
Our team is looking for a person who has:
- experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- experience with assessment process and support planning.
- the ability to work in both a team environment as well as independently.
- relevant post-graduate qualifications (preferred).
You will enjoy working within a team environment and will be flexible and adaptable to service needs.
