JOB DESCRIPTION
- Full-time, permanent Occupational Therapist position
- New Zealand Registered with a current annual practising certificate
- Passionate about children and their development as well as keen to learn and constantly up-skill within this great team

The Team: What we do
The Child Development Service is a community based team that are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children with developmental delays or disabilities and their families. This is an excellent role for someone who is wanting to work within a fun team who keeps families and children at the centre of everything they do. This team supports and equips families and provides expert help when needed.
This team covers from Rakaia to north of Kaikoura so a clean drivers license is a must with the ability to drive both manual and automatic cars. This role is based at Montreal House at 440 Montreal Street.
The Role: Where you fit in
Your days will be filled with the following:
- Supporting families with children who have developmental delays or disabilities
- Meeting children in their homes, preschools or schools
- Providing guidance and knowledge for families
We are looking for some with previous experience in a similar area and Enable accreditation is an advantage. You will need to be flexible, have initiative and excellent problem solving skills. First-rate communication skills written and verbal are a prerequisite. You will be part of a supportive team and regular supervision is provided.
