About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated OT to join our Christchurch based rehabilitation team.
This can be a full or part time role, however full-time would be preferred. Experience in working with concussion clients would be a plus but not essential. Experience with working with ACC contracts would also be a plus but not essential.
Post-graduate training or a desire to complete this would also be preferred and support can be provided for this.
In this role you will be reporting to the clinic manager. You will be a key member of both the Christchurch Interdisciplinary Rehabilitation Team and the Hospital and Community team in Christchurch.
With support, training and mentoring depending on experience, the successful candidate will be required to provide a wide variety of OT related services within the Christchurch and Canterbury region. This includes working in our well at work, rehab at home, pain management, spine care, wellness and injury rehab services to support our clients in their recovery from injuries and other health conditions affecting their ability to return to normality. Our clients include private patients, employer groups, ACC and other third party insurance groups, health insurance companies and other business partners.

We have a national OT team and mentorship and supervision is provided as well as full onboarding training and an ongoing commitment to professional development.
We are based in the Caledonian Centre at 8 Caledonian Road and have a new fully equipped rehabilitation facility.
A laptop and car would be provided as part of the role.
Parking is available at the clinic.
This is an employed position and reimbursement of APC and registration is provided as well as ongoing professional development funds and health insurance included in the package.
Skills and Experience
The applicant should hold the relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy and have registration with the OT board of NZ.
