Start your journey with Northland DHB – right now we are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join the team as a Delirium Specialist. This position is a new initiative looking to improve care and outcomes for patients experiencing delirium.
This is a full time position based at Whangarei Hospital.

The successful applicant will provide services to our patients in Whangarei Hospital. The role involves working both with clients and their whanau and developing an education programme for staff working with patients with delirium.
We are looking for applicants who are flexible, enthusiastic, organised, and are able to relate well and communicate effectively with clients and whānau, caregivers and colleagues.
We are a friendly and welcoming team offering a supportive working environment with a strong commitment to regular supervision and opportunities for professional development.
A minimum of 2 years post graduate experience is essential. Some experience working across acute medical and surgical services is preferred but not essential.
