We currently have a full-time position available for an experienced Occupational Therapist within our Early Discharge and Rehabilitation Service (EDARS) based at Waitakere Hospital.EDARS focuses on providing a comprehensive, intensive and coordinated home-based rehabilitation service for older people in the Waitematā community. The service delivers individually prescribed rehabilitation to patients over the age of 65, based on their specific needs and goals.
There is a strong interdisciplinary approach in the EDARS team to get the best rehabilitation and Quality of Life outcomes for the people we serve. The service offers patients an evidence based model of care, with robust patient goal setting practices.
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who enjoys working with all age ranges and in particular older adults with neurological conditions. You will be committed to providing excellent service and continuous quality improvement, and have excellent written and verbal communication, time management and prioritisation skills.
