An exciting opportunity has become available for an occupational therapist to join the Rural and Community Services Occupational Therapy (OT) team at Waikato District Health Board. This position is 40 hours per week and will provide occupational therapy to clients within their home environment in rural South Waikato areas. This position is based at Tokoroa Hospital.

This position will be involved with home based OT rehab programmes under the Supported Transfer and Accelerated Rehabilitation Team (START) and will also support the Rural and community Services OT team.

We are seeking someone with:

• A positive, flexible attitude.
• The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ideally have stoke rehab skills and knowledge.

We provide regular clinical supervision and have a commitment to continuous professional development.
