Tupu Ora is a regional specialist service providing assessment and treatment for, children, adolescents and adults with eating disorders.   Tupu Ora is a treatment continuum including outpatient, intensive day programme, a residential facility and consultation and liaison to other services.

This position is based predominantly in the Tupu Ora Day Programme.  These services provide intensive treatment to clients 15 years and older presenting with moderate to severe eating disorders. As a member of this small team you will provide group treatment and coordinate the day programme treatment for a small caseload of clients.

The Tupu Ora day programme delivers a group programme that incorporates various therapies including but not limited to experiential learning, occupational therapy, CBT and DBT.

You will bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a strong commitment to a multi-disciplinary team approach having previously worked within the CAMHS sector with adolescents and their families or within Adult Mental Health Services. Familiarity or experience in group work, therapy modalities and working with service users with eating disorders would be an asset but not essential.

This is a fixed term role for 12 months covering parental leave.  This role is Monday to Friday.
