About the role
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated and friendly team. This is a permanent full-time position working 80 hours a fortnight (1.0FTE), Monday to Friday. This is a varied role including working individually with patients, undertaking assessments, group work/activities education and providing support to the wider team.
For the majority of time you’ll be based at our Inpatient Unit, with sometime in the community supporting patients transitioning to the community. Our unit is implementing a Sensory Modulation framework, led by the Occupational Therapists within the unit.
About you
You will be a NZ registered Occupational Therapist who is enthusiastic and energetic with well-developed people skills. You will bring experience working in a rehabilitation focused, continuing care, mental health environment and will ideally have post-graduate qualifications relevant to this practice area.
