Active+ Waikato – Occupational TherapIST:

  based in any town in the Waikato District – preferably HAMILTON

 

ü    Varied Caseload: broad range of ACC contracts, private corporate injury prevention work

ü    Strong Clinical Professional Development and mentoring programme

ü    Strong, well established Multi-disciplinary team who are generous with their knowledge

ü    Role available as either an OT Contractor OR Employee, Part-time OR Full-time

 

An Occupational Therapist role is now available within our Active+ Waikato team in the Waikato District.   We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Occupational Therapist who is keen to make an exciting career move to join our large and dynamic multidisciplinary team, as an employee or contractor. The position covers the Waikato region and could be based in any town including (but not limited to) Hamilton, Te Awamutu, Cambridge, Morrinsville, Huntly, Te Kuiti etc.

 

If you are a hard-working team player with a sense of fun and are looking to work within a premier NZ Interdisciplinary Team, then this is the role for you.  Our ideal applicant will demonstrate they are clinically strong in a client centered interdisciplinary model, whilst also efficient, I.T. savvy and able to meet deadlines.

 

Active+ Waikato provides a supportive and widely varied environment to grow and use your skills. You will be working within a large team of highly experienced, post graduate qualified Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Vocational Consultants, and others.  Dependent on your skills and interests, your role will cover a wide-ranging caseload of vocational rehabilitation, serious injury, concussion, pain and/or assessment services and Corporate injury prevention work.

 

We offer an excellent remuneration package making this a highly desirable position for any Occupational Therapist looking to further their career yet maintain a work/life balance.  The role is available as either a contractor or employee and can be full-time or part-time (no less than 25 hours per week).   An additional relocation allowance may be available for the right applicant.

 

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit, a current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate, and a current NZ driver’s license.  Preference given for experience in ACC Contracts and/or Post-graduate qualifications in Vocational Rehab services, and/or a proven record of relevant professional development in this scope of work.
