- Permanent, full-time position (Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week)
- Community based service of Starship
- Leadership role
Starship Community provides interdisciplinary care and cultural support to children; young people, their families and whānau living within the Auckland DHB area. A part of the Starship Child Health directorate, our nursing; allied health and technical staff are responsible for delivering health care services to children; young people, and whānau in their home; school and community settings.
Getting to know our communities, working closely with them, removing inequities and barriers to health care for priority populations, are key drivers for us each day.
We are seeking an experienced; motivated and energetic Occupational Therapist to join the Starship Community service as a Practice Supervisor.
As the Practice Supervisor you will provide direct clinical care and clinical leadership to the Occupational Therapy team working across child development within our community team. You will exercise a strong sense of team and leadership. You will teach/ train our occupational therapists to develop and support their personal and professional growth.
To be shortlisted you will ideally:
- Be a registered Occupational Therapist in New Zealand with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Bring 4+ years of experience as a paediatric OT
- Hold a full and clean NZ driver’s license
