Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service – Auckland DHB
0.8 FTE (full time negotiable)
We are looking for an energetic qualified mental health professional to join our Te Kaahu Intensive Clinical team as a Co-ordinator. Essentially, you will have mental health experience and a clinical qualification and professional registration in Psychiatric Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work.
The Te Kaahu team is a small team within the Kari Centre that supports children, adolescents and their families receiving treatment in our service to recover from serious mental health problems. Members of Te Kaahu provide intensive clinical support for young people and their Whanau who experience high social needs and mental illness, and are also supported by Oranga Tamariki.
This is a part time 0.8 FTE position with the option of full time negotiable, based in Greenlane. You will need a full and clean driver’s license for this role.
As an ideal candidate, you will have experience in and knowledge of the Wraparound Model of Care, Strengths based approaches and Family Systems treatment, familiarity with Oranga Tamariki processes and pathways, and an interest in providing extensive support to our vulnerable populations.
You will also have leadership qualities and/or experience and be a highly organised person, managing the organisational needs of the team as well as working clinically alongside the team.
In this role, you will work closely with referring colleagues, striving to develop and maintain a high standard of service delivery, within the service and with other agencies such as Oranga Tamariki.
