About the role
The role provides day to day leadership, operational management and planning, in order to deliver a sustainable, high quality service that contributes to the achievement of organisational goals for the Occupational Therapy service.
The role also provides professional leadership for Occupational Therapy, across Nelson Marlborough Health (NMH) physical health services, with a focus on workforce development, safe and high quality care, outcomes focussed practice and integration that support strategic development and organisational priorities.
You will be an experienced Team Leader/ Manager and Professional Advisor with a strong knowledge of the health sector who leads by example, is highly visible and is able to champion ideas and motivate those around you. You will be skilful at developing and fostering collaborative working relationships internally and externally, through establishing the respect and trust of those you come in contact with.
